Doctors examining Earl Campbell have ruled out heart problems as the cause of severe chest pains the former University of Texas and Houston Oilers star suffered over the weekend.
Campbell, 33, former Heisman Trophy winner, is listed in satisfactory condition at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston.
Doctors believe Campbell may be suffering from exhaustion or having anxiety attacks, the hospital said.
