NBC may have finally dropped the name “Valerie” from its comedy “The Hogan Family” (a.k.a. “Valerie” and “Valerie’s Family”), but former star Valerie Harper has not dropped her lawsuit against Lorimar Television and the network--and they’re still suing her . Harper, Lorimar and NBC head for Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday to face off over Harper’s dismissal from the series last August. She is suing the production firm and NBC for breach of contract. “It’s not just a personal issue for me, but a stand for both the creative community and those in every profession in our country who have been wrongfully fired,” Harper said in a statement released Friday.
