Spanish-language cable TV watchers are slated to get a second 24-hour news service in November from the Spanish Television News Network, a show produced by San Juan, Puerto Rico-based Multi-Media Television Inc. Mexico City-based Televisa plans to unveil its 24-hour news show “ECO” in 300 domestic cable outlets on Sept. 1. English-language TV’s Cable Network News is currently the nation’s only 24-hour news network. Like CNN, STNN plans to sell its show--which will include talk show segments, documentaries and live sports--in Latin America.
