WILD RIVERS

Address: 8800 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine.

Features: This water-theme amusement park boasts more than 40 rides and attractions, including slides, pools with wave action for body surfing and body boarding, wading pools for small children and waterways for riding inner tubes.

Prices: $13.75 for visitors 10 and older; $10.75 for children 3-9 years old; $6.75 for park users 55 and older and for spectators; $6.75 for all adults and children after 4 p.m. Children 9 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Hours: Through Sept. 5, open daily 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sept. 6-9, open daily 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sept. 10-Oct. 2 open weekends 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed for winter after Oct. 2.

CAMELOT GOLFLAND

Address: 3200 E. Carpenter Ave., Anaheim.

Features: Four water slides. Also, miniature golf, arcade games.

Prices: $3 for 10 rides; $5 for 20 rides.

Hours: Slides open 11 a.m.-to-6 p.m. weekdays; 11 a.m.-to-9 p.m. weekends. Other attractions open 10 a.m. to midnight.

How to get there: Take the Riverside (91) Freeway to the Kraemer/Glassell off-ramp; go north to La Palma Avenue and turn right; turn right after one block on Shepard Street and go to the end; turn left on Carpenter Avenue.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY FAMILY FUN CENTER

Address: 16800 Magnolia Ave., Fountain Valley.

Features: One roller slide (which ends in a pool of water). Also, miniature golf, bumper boats, go carts, batting cages and arcade games.

Prices: For water slides, $2.50 for 30 minutes, $3.50 for one hour.

Hours: Slides open daily, noon to 4:30 p.m. Other attractions open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ANAHEIM FAMILY FUN CENTER

Address: 1041 N. Shepard St., Anaheim.

Features: One roller splash. Also, bumper boats, go carts, batting cages, roller skating, arcade games.

Prices: Eight rides for $2.50.

Hours: Slide open daily, noon to 5 p.m. Other attractions open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
