Local News in Brief : Huntington Beach : 2 Women Rob Thrifty Gas Station of $80
Two women robbed a Thrifty gas station and convenience store of $80 early Sunday, police said.
The pair entered the store area of the business at 19971 Beach Blvd. at 3:05 a.m.
One of the women drew a gun from her purse and pointed it toward the clerk while the other bandit took the $80 in cash from the register, according to Huntington Beach Police Lt. Bill Mamelli.
