“Hairspray.” RCA/Columbia. $89.95. PG. Even sweeter and more mass-audience-accessible than “Polyester,” once-underground-only director John Waters’ tribute to “American Bandstand”-type shows and their early ‘60s fans features Divine (her/his last appearance), Ricki Lane and Colleen Fitzpatrick. Debbie Harry and Sonny Bono show up for the lightly satirical fun, too.

“Gates of Heaven.” RCA/Columbia. $79.95. 1978. VHS only. Noted, controversial documentary (made on a bet) about pet cemeteries.

“Bulletproof.” RCA/Columbia. $79.95. 1988. R. Low-grossing action film about terrorists who ambush military convoy stars Gary Busey.
