New Alliance Party Files Ballot Petitions
Supporters of minor party candidates Lenora B. Fulani and B. Kwaku Duren announced at a City Hall news conference in Los Angeles that they have filed about 120,000 signatures to place the New Alliance Party presidential and vice presidential nominees on the California ballot.
Duren said the petition signatures were filed with county clerks in 40 of the state’s 58 counties and if they are validated, California would become the 45th state in which the Fulani-Duren ticket will appear. At least 65,000 valid signatures are required.
