Hurrah for “Beauty and the Beast” and the 12 Emmy nominations it so richly deserves. The time has come for TV producers, sponsors and redliners (who cancel the shows) to pay attention to the nickel-grubbing viewers out there who watch the shows and then go out and buy the products. We are the ones who keep the TV shows going, not some stupid Nielsen ratings system which seems to accomplish nothing but remove the better programs from those who care about them.
