Carlsbad
Three men are being sought in the shotgun slaying of a man found dead Sunday in a Carlsbad hotel, authorities said.
The victim, described as 5 feet tall and 180 pounds, was found at 5:45 p.m. in a second-floor room of the Lexington Hotel, a Carlsbad police spokeswoman said.
Witnesses reported hearing a shot and then seeing three men leave the room. The men left the motel in a white, older Porsche with personalized California license plates reading “BLUZBOY,” the spokesman said.
