The New Jersey Nets have acquired forward Walter Berry from the San Antonio Spurs for forward Dallas Comegys.
Berry, the 14th selection overall in the first round of the 1986 draft, averaged 17.4 points per game last season, second-best on the Spurs.
Berry was with heavyweight champion Mike Tyson when Tyson was involved in an early-morning fight with another boxer, Mitch Green, last week in New York.
