A small brush fire broke out in Anaheim on Tuesday near the Riverside Freeway and Euclid Street, charring shingles on the roofs of two Fullerton homes in its path, fire officials said.

The Fullerton Fire Department was called when some hot embers from the brush fire jumped to the roofs of two homes in the 700 block of West Houston Avenue in Fullerton.
