Daniel Herman has been appointed vice president and officer in charge of EDAW Inc.’s Irvine office. He succeeds Jeff Mayer, who left the company. Herman has directed the San Bernardino office since 1987. Previously, he was vice president of urban design and landscape architecture for Harland Bartholomew & Associates, and also directed that firm’s Austin, Tex., office. EDAW, headquartered in San Francisco, is involved in landscape architecture, planning, urban design, environmental analysis, site engineering and graphic design.
