Local News in Brief : LAPD Opens Line for Drug Activity Tips

Los Angeles residents now have a special phone number to report suspicious drug activity to police: (800) 662-BUST.
The number was established to let citizens bypass the police dispatcher and make their report anonymously to a special gang unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. The 24-hour line will be staffed by LAPD detectives after normal business hours.
