People at Train Station Watch as Woman Is Raped

CHICAGO — Several people watched as a 36-year-old woman was raped beneath a commuter train platform during rush hour, but nobody reacted when she cried for help, police said Friday. A suspect, Steven Shelton, 30, of Chicago, was arrested soon after the incident Thursday evening, police said. The woman also was treated for minor injuries.
