IDM Will Develop on College-Owned Land
The Riverside Community College District has selected IDM Corp., Long Beach, to develop a $250-million mixed-use project, to be known as La Sierra, on 119 acres owned by the district in Riverside. The site is bounded by La Sierra, Arizona and Vallejo avenues and the Riverside Freeway.
The plan calls for retail, office, commercial, hotel and residential structures to be built in four phases. Construction is expected to begin in January. The architect and contractor have not yet been selected.
