A state corrections officer has been booked for investigation of smuggling an ounce of cocaine into the California Rehabilitation Center in Norco, the state Department of Corrections announced. Steven Mendoza, 23, of Pomona was arrested as he arrived for duty at the medium-security prison, said corrections Capt. James Clark. Mendoza was booked on suspicion of bringing a controlled substance into a prison.
