Columbia Pictures Entertainment Inc. reported a second-quarter profit of $5 million on revenue of $373.1 million. The New York film, television programming and theater company noted that the results are the first second-quarter figures since the firm was formed by the combination of Tri-Star Pictures Inc. and the entertainment business sector of Coca-Cola Co. on Dec. 17, 1987, and are not comparable to any period during the previous fiscal year.
