Fairer Elections
Your “Yes on District Elections” editorial (Oct. 2) supports a change for fairer representation on the San Diego City Council. The League of Women Voters, Sierra Club, Common Cause and many community organizations support this change to reduce the power of large contributors and give the city to the people.
We look forward to increased voter participation, an increased number of active neighborhood associations and increased involvement of citizens to solve community problems. I hope your “Yes” turns into a widespread “Yes” vote for “E.”
