Two people were killed and four injured when a car speeding about 80 m.p.h. collided head-on with another vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, the California Highway Patrol said Monday.
Two men, both about 20 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene of the 7:52 p.m. Sunday crash, Officer Charlotte Foley said. Identifications were withheld pending notification of relatives.
The collision occurred after a speeding Toyota Celica, carrying a driver and three passengers, hit the center divider at John Tyler Drive, then spun around so that it faced oncoming traffic, Foley said.
