CBS isn’t the only network drawing flak. Veteran Olympics chronicler Bud Greenspan (“16 Days of Glory”) is taking NBC to task for its commercial-drenched Seoul Olympics coverage, saying Team Peacock “wasted a lot of time” in its handling of the ’88 Summer Games. “They focused too much on the winners” and too little elsewhere, Greenspan said. So what makes Greenspan so hot? You can see for yourself later this year, when Greenspan’s own 3-hour view of the Seoul games premieres on the Disney Channel. The documentarian brought back more than a million feet of exposed film from the games--more footage than he shot for “16 Days of Glory,” which covered the ’84 Games in Los Angeles.
