Bob Gagliano has been a beneficiary of the rash of injuries to NFL quarterbacks not once, but twice this season.
The former Glendale College and Hoover High standout signed with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, 3 weeks and a day after being released by the Houston Oilers. Gagliano, 30, becomes the Colts No. 3 quarterback, behind Chris Chandler and Gary Hogeboom.
Gagliano takes the spot of former starter Jack Trudeau, who underwent knee surgery Monday. Last month, Gagliano spent 7 days as Houston's No. 3 quarterback.
