Brian Propp scored three goals and Tim Kerr and Pelle Eklund had a goal and three assists each as the Philadelphia Flyers edged the Minnesota North Stars, 7-6, in a National Hockey League game Thursday night.

The Flyers (3-0) and the Kings (4-0), who will meet at the Forum Saturday night, are the only unbeaten teams in the NHL.

The Flyers, who converted 6 of 11 power-play chances, scored two power-play goals within a 33-second span of the second period.

With 9:30 left in the period and the game tied, 2-2, Kerry Huffman hit a shot that deflected off Scott Mellanby’s skate, and the puck trickled between the pads of goalie Jarmo Myllys. Then Eklund picked up a loose puck and beat Myllys.
