There’s a new calendar coming out--featuring such rock/pop worthies as Van Halen, George Michael, INXS, Robbie Robertson and Mark Knopfler--that’s a fund-raising vehicle for the Make a Wish people, the ones who arrange wishes for children with potentially lethal diseases. The 1989 calendar, shot by free-lance pop photographer Chris Cuffaro, will go for $11.95 in record stores on or about Nov. 15. According to Cuffaro, Michael--who has granted quite a few ill children’s wishes in the past with hospital visits and such--was the first to volunteer to be photographed for the calendar.
