WESTSIDE CRUDE
I was surprised that the Los Angeles Times Magazine would use a drawing of a “grasshopper” for “Westside Crude.” The city has required that the drilling tower be architecturally designed and constructed as a Spanish mission bell tower, that the site area be landscaped to blend in with the environment and that the well pumps be in an underground cellar.
