Reggie Rogers Marries in Hospital Where He Is Recovering From Injuries
Defensive end Reggie Rogers of the Detroit Lions was married Tuesday in the hospital room where he is recovering from a car accident that left three teen-agers dead.
Rogers, 24, and Sheila Dorsey, who is about seven months pregnant with twins, were married in a ceremony at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Harold Curry, one of Rogers’ lawyers, said the ceremony was attended by family and close friends.
Rogers suffered a broken neck, partially severed thumb and other injuries in the Oct. 20 accident in downtown Pontiac. Dr. Bob Aranosian said Rogers will be discharged in about a week.
Rogers has been named in a warrant issued by the Oakland County Prosecutor’s office charging him with three counts of involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of the three teen-agers.
