More than 100 sheriff’s deputies raided 11 homes in the Lennox area just after dawn Wednesday, arresting 10 reputed gang members suspected of a wave of stabbings and drive-by shootings.
Six adults and four juveniles, ranging in age from 14 to 22, were rousted out of bed about 6 a.m. and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Sheriff’s Sgt. Gilbert Jurado said.
Two stabbings and five drive-by shootings have been reported during the last two months in the neighborhood east of Los Angeles International Airport, where three Latino gangs have been feuding, Jurado said.
