22 Die, 31 Hurt in Fire at India Oil Refinery

BOMBAY, India — Twenty-two people were killed and 31 were badly burned in an oil refinery fire in suburban Bombay that blazed throughout Wednesday night, company officials said Thursday.
The director of the state-owned Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd., K. R. S. Narayan, said the fire burned for eight hours before it was brought under control.
