At 1 p.m., CBS (2)(8) will air the Rams-New Orleans Saints game, while the Raiders and San Francisco 49ers can be seen at the same time from Candlestick Park on NBC (4)(36)(39).

Because it is showing the Rams home game, which sold out Thursday, Channel 2 will drop the previously scheduled Chicago-Washington contest at 10 a.m.

In basketball, the Clippers host Phoenix in their home season opener at 7:30 tonight on Z (cable).
