As far as KROQ playing these striking new songs before its competition, let’s not forget the most adventuresome radio format of them all--College Radio.
KROQ picks up on a lot of the new songs they play after a station such as KXLU discards them. The two things KROQ does have that KXLU doesn’t are the obnoxious deejays and endless commercials.
