Police arrested about 200 anti-abortion demonstrators in protests in three states as the demonstrators tried to prevent women from entering clinics. Anti-abortion protests were held in Indianapolis, Milwaukee and the Detroit suburb of Livonia, while “pro-choice” demonstrations were held in Buffalo, N.Y., and a Seattle suburb, where 22 people were arrested. The protests were peaceful.
