Kirk Cameron, the young star of “Growing Pains,” will host a two-hour special on ABC Dec. 29 showcasing the Ice Capades. Appearing on the program with the skating troupe will be Olympic skaters Debi Thomas, Scott Hamilton and Elizabeth Manley, plus Rita Moreno and Allyce Beasley.

Harry Anderson steps out of his “Night Court” robes into a TV movie for CBS Nov. 22. It’s a comedy called “Spies, Lies and Naked Thighs” and also stars Ed Begley Jr., Linda Purl and Wendy Crewson. Anderson plays a man who claims to be a government agent and moves in with a married couple (Begley and Purl) in New York.

People: Pop star Gladys Knight will appear as herself in the Thursday episode of “A Different World” on NBC. . . . Former “Benson” star Robert Guillaume will host “Black Angelenos--The True Story,” a documentary about the history of blacks in Los Angeles that KCOP Channel 13 plans to air Dec. 21.

NBC has set Nov. 27 as the telecast date for “In the Line of Duty: The FBI Murders,” in which two well-known good guys are cast as the bad guys. Michael Gross, who plays the dad on “Family Ties,” and David Soul, who played a policeman in “Starsky and Hutch,” portray a couple of killers who are tracked down by the FBI and wind up in a bloody shoot-out.

Coming Nov. 29 on ABC is “The 50th Barbara Walters Special,” which will feature highlights from interviews she’s done for the network over the past 12 years. Viewers of the two-hour program will see clips of her meetings with such people as Fidel Castro, Dolly Parton, the Shah of Iran, Sylvester Stallone and Stevie Wonder.
