Late TV flashes: Geraldo Rivera’s debut as a real-life chair target--and, also, his look into the hateful world of skinheadism and neo-Nazism--rang up some big Nielsen numbers in Los Angeles when it aired Friday on KCBS Channel 2: that particular “Geraldo” show was seen in more than 672,000 homes, attracting 33% of the available audience. The next biggest draw in the 4 p.m. time slot was KNBC Channel 4’s local news, which was seen in about 331,000 homes . . .
