A baby kidnaped Nov. 1 from a hospital in Little Rock, Ark., has been found safe, and a 32-year-old woman was being held in the kidnaping, police said. Christopher Michael Jones, born six weeks premature on Oct. 29, was taken three days later from Doctors Hospital by a woman posing as a nurse and was found by police acting on a telephone tip. The boy was taken to a hospital for examination, after which he would be reunited with his parents, Willie and Annette Thomas-Jones, police said. Hospital officials said the infant appeared to be unharmed and to have even gained weight. The motive for the kidnaping was not known, police said. Local media had carried repeated appeals by Annette Thomas-Jones for the baby’s return, noting that he needed continued medical attention.
