‘Shot in the Foot by Prop. 103’

There are enough bright students at UCLA to easily shoot down the arguments of Zycher.

All they need to do is bring up the most important issue of this initiative--the elimination of the exemption to antitrust legislation. All of Zycher’s arguments then fall like a house of cards.

Antitrust laws were written for the very purpose of preserving the free market that Prof. Zycher so earnestly tries to defend. Besides, the initiative has built in a provision for allowing premiums to be adjusted to allow for a fair profit.

Insurance companies fleeing the state? What a laugh. With 15% of all the drivers in the country, California will always attract people willing to write good, fair insurance.
