Local News in Brief : Hahn Sworn in for Record 10th Term
Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn takes the oath of office for a 10th four-year term, a record for county supervisors in California. Hahn, 68, confined to a wheelchair since suffering a stroke in January, 1987, was sworn in by his son, City Atty. James K. Hahn, at the county Hall of Administration.
Asked if he would seek still another term, Hahn said, “I always said I’d be grateful to serve 10 terms, so I’m going to let the Lord direct my life.”
