Having lost 3 straight games, the Lazers will try to bounce back against the first-place Baltimore Blast at the Forum today at 1:30 p.m.
The Lazers (3-4), who led the Major Indoor Soccer League in defense before their recent slump, have allowed 20 goals in that 3-game span and now rank fifth in defense.
Even so, they still lead the league when playing a man short, having killed 19 of their opponents’ 20 power-play attempts.
Gary Heale leads the Lazers in goals with 9 and shares the point lead with Michael Collins at 11. Baltimore (5-1) took an 8-1 thrashing in its last game, Nov. 26 against the Kansas City Comets.
