Driver Triggers Crash After $100 Flies Out the Window

RENO — A $100 bill flew out the window of a pickup truck, and the driver set a construction rig aflame by backing up and rupturing its gas tank in an unsuccessful attempt to retrieve the money. The Nevada Highway Patrol said Saturday that the $100 was never found and the fiery accident closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 for several hours.
