Ethics Bill Veto
How very typical of the chief executive officer of an Administration tainted by sleaze and corruption, and itself ethically flawed, to veto a comprehensive ethics bill on the grounds that it is “flawed, excessive and discriminatory” to the executive branch of government (“Reagan Vetoes Ethics Bill as Unfair to Ex-Officials,” Part I, Nov. 24).
Indeed! That is the branch of government where Reagan’s Rouges need the greatest restriction.
And what will the Great Thespian do for an encore before his final curtain? Why, pardon Ollie, of course.
