Local News in Brief : City Council Cancels Sessions Till Friday

With about half its members in Boston for a National League of Cities meeting, the Los Angeles City Council will not hold sessions until Friday.
Council sessions today and Wednesday have been canceled. There is no council meeting on Thursdays.
The council will return to a normal schedule Dec. 12.
