Equipment Destroyed in Fire at Moorpark
A fire in an equipment warehouse at Moorpark College destroyed more than $30,000 worth of track and football equipment Tuesday, college officials said.
A college spokesman said that the fire broke out at about noon in the 15-by-30-foot warehouse. Moorpark firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 10 minutes. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
