Local News in Brief : Garden Grove : Police Identify Body of Homicide Victim
Police have identified the body of a man found stabbed to death last month in Twin Lakes Park as that of Stewart William Fenton, 36, of Anaheim.
Police Lt. John Woods said that employees of the park at Lampson Avenue and Haster Street noticed the body at 7:20 a.m. Nov. 29 but assumed that the man was asleep. They did not realize he was dead until they saw him again a few hours later, he said.
Woods said Fenton’s car, a dark brown 1985 Chevrolet Celebrity with a citizens band radio antenna on the trunk, is missing and may be in the possession of Fenton’s attacker. The license number is 1NAF328, and there is a Department of Motor Vehicles sticker in the rear window.
Woods said that robbery is believed to have been the motive in the attack.
