A teen-ager died Monday when he was hit by two cars as he crossed a busy Thousand Oaks street against a red light, authorities said.
The teen-ager, who was carrying no identification, was struck as he crossed Moorpark Road at Brazil Street at 5:42 p.m., said Sgt. Herb Roper of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. Roper said the teen-ager was hit by a second car as he fell to the street.
He was taken to Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, where he was pronounced dead.
Both drivers stopped after the accident and remained at the scene until authorities questioned them, Roper said. Neither driver was arrested.
