Local News in Brief : 3 Vie for 2 School Board Positions
Two incumbents and a challenger are running for two seats on the board of the Redondo Beach City Elementary School District in the March 7 election. The filing deadline for the posts was Friday.
Trustee Rebecca Sargent, 42, is seeking a third 4-year term, and the other incumbent, Howard Huizing, 69, is running for his second term. The challenger is Andrew Deliman, 68, who retired in 1985 after serving many years as a principal in the school district.
