Local News in Brief : Los Alamitos : Lotto Winner Has Yet to Come Forward
The winner of more than $6 million in last weekend’s Lotto 6/49 was still unknown as state lottery officials waited Monday for the person who purchased the lucky ticket in a Los Alamitos store to claim the prize.
Meanwhile, the midweek Lotto jackpot for Wednesday’s game will be more than $5 million, a lottery official said.
Saturday’s jackpot is worth $6,050,286, but the identities of winners are unknown until they claim their prizes, a spokeswoman said.
The numbers picked by machine Saturday were: 1, 8, 18, 19, 20, 27 and the bonus number, 34.
Seven players picked five of six numbers plus the bonus, for $232,466 each. Those tickets were bought in Pleasant Hill, Stockton, Hacienda Heights, Los Angeles, National City, Riverside and Perris.
Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 drawing raised $5,182,869 for schools and paid $10,857,542 to players.
