A memorial service for Elvin C. (Ducky) Drake, the longtime UCLA athletic trainer who died last week, will be held Friday in Royce Hall on the UCLA campus.
Drake died of a heart attack last Friday night. He was 85.

For the record: A memorial service for Elvin C. (Ducky) Drake, longtime UCLA athletic trainer and coach who died last Friday at the age of 85, will be held in Royce Hall at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, not this Friday, as reported in Wednesday’s editions.
Drake is survived by his wife, Rose. Funeral services for the immediate family will be held today. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Drake has requested donations to a new Ducky Drake Scholarship Fund at UCLA.
