Any News Ahead?

Howard Roseberg misses the point of “The Koppel Report: News From Earth” (“Koppel’s ‘News From Earth’ Is Mostly Negative,” Dec. 26). The point is not “Earth is a nice place to visit but you wouldn’t want to live there.” Instead, Ted Koppel brilliantly demonstrates that unless the human stewards of the planet do a much better job of caring for the planet and for each other, there will be no news from Earth 100 years hence.
