A woman accused of paying for the 1983 murder of New York theatrical producer Roy Radin has decided to return to Los Angeles voluntarily rather than fight extradition, her attorney said.

Lanie Jacobs, whose full name is Karen DeLayne Jacobs Greenberger, is “innocent of the charges and has every confidence that her innocence will be demonstrated,” said her attorney, Edward Shohat of Miami. Jacobs, who is in jail in Orlando, Fla., is expected to arrive in Los Angeles within two weeks, he said.

Jacobs is accused of luring Radin to his death at the hands of men she hired because he would not agree to share profits from a planned investment in the movie “Cotton Club.” Jacobs had introduced Radin to the movie’s producer, Robert Evans.
