Henry Cameron, 35, was in a critical condition in Brisbane’s Prince Charles Hospital after falling during the Inverell Cup Saturday. The 8 other jockeys received minor injuries including 3 broken wrists and 2 broken collar bones.
Cameron suffered chest and neck injuries and a broken right arm, a hospital spokesman said.
Cameron was riding the leading horse when it stumbled and fell, causing a massive pile-up.
