Long Beach : Lease Change to Allow Hotel, Office Buildings
The Long Beach City Council has approved a lease change that would allow construction of a 260-room hotel, two mid-rise office buildings and a restaurant on 6.8 acres of city-owned land at the Long Beach Airport. The development would replace a motel and car wash that have already been closed by the current lease holder, Rochelle Enterprises, which is transferring the lease to an affiliate of IDM Corp., one of the most active developers in Long Beach.
