Bayakoa Wins by 12 Lengths in Mud
Bayakoa led from the outset and pulled away to win by 12 lengths in the $55,000 feature for fillies and mares Thursday at Santa Anita.
Bayakoa, ridden by Laffit Pincay, covered 1 mile on the muddy track in 1:36 2/5 and earned $30,250, paying $3.20, $2.40 and $2.20.
Small Virtue, with Alex Solis up, was second and paid $4.20 and $2.60.
Oueee Bebe, with Eddie Delahoussaye aboard, returned $2.80 as the third-place finisher.
